Mohammed Rafi, the legend in singing...
Pukarta, Chala Hoon mein is a lovely song by Mohammed Rafi in Mere Sanam. Rafi Saheb ruled the Hindi film musicdom in the 50s and 60s and his voice is inimitable. He was able to bring the liveliness to a Shammi Kapoor's song like Yahoo, or the melancholy to a Dev Anand's song like Tere Mere Sapne, ab ek rang hai...
He was a versatile singer. Though two decades have flown by after his death in July 1980, the vocal vacuum he has left behind is yet to be filled up...
